Saubhagya Production Village Programme

According to the 2021 budget proposals, 4 Prosperity Production Villages have been established focusing on low-income families living in selected villages of Dompe Divisional Secretariat and are successfully carrying out production and service activities.

1.Ornamental flower plants and gardening production village was established at 395 /B Kuruduhena village.

2.408 /A Establishment of Samurdhi Bhimmal Village, South Vanaluwawa.

3.77/A/B/C Establishment of reed products and reed-related ornaments production village in Kuttiwila, Talgaswatta, Kendagolla villages.

4.Establishment of vehicle repair and servicing cluster village 385 A in Bogahawatta and Diyawala and Bandaranayakpura East and West villages.

Decentralized Capital Budget Programme

1.Construction of a toilet at the Bandaranaike Memorial Elders' Home located at 404 Indolamulla Grama Niladhari Division.

2.Allocation of funds for the construction of a sloping bridge to enter the third floor lecture hall and the relics hall for the Sri Sudarshanarama Temple

3.For the construction work of the pagoda of Pallegama Sri Poorvarama Temple

4.Development of School Playground at WP / Village / Dekatana Primary School Phase 3

5.Applying netting for a part of the drainage system around the playground of Dekatana Primary College

Gama Samaga Pilisadarak Programme

Under the 2022 Gamasamaga Pilisadara program, a preliminary start was made by concreting several roads and construction of a sevapiyasa, and equipment was provided to the self-employed.

• Under Livelihood Development, conducting training programs for carpentry, masonry, landscaping, saloon, aluminum, iron, garage work, wiring and radio, handicrafts, fish trade and providing necessary equipment.

• Conducting training programs and providing a shredding machine for raw materials required for organic fertilizer production

• Conducting training programs and providing equipment as required for the upliftment of identified self-employed persons

• Conducting training programs and providing necessary equipment for various self-employed (masonry, sewing and others)

Diyawala

• Renovation and improvement of sanitary facilities in Diyawala Grama Niladari Division so that it can be used as a election polling station.

Radawana North

• Conduct training programs for families involved in enterprise development, service projects, agriculture-related projects, livestock, etc. and provide equipment as needed.
• Extending the existing side wall of the Diya Basna Canal in the Radawan North Grama Niladhari Division.

Nadungolla North

• Covering the fence of the land at Seva Piyasa to prepare a plantation garden
• Renovation of Community Hall Building

• Construction of Prajashala with Sewa Piyasak for Bandaranayakapura West Division

• Concreting of the road in front of the house of Mr. Nishantha Pradeep, which is a side road of Wijesekara Mawatha in Maniklanda Grama Niladhari Division.

Mandawala North

• Conducting training programs in Mandawala North Division and providing necessary equipment to the self-employed

Mandawala South

• Conducting training programs in Mandawala South region and providing necessary equipment for various self-employed people (flower garden ornamental fish and others)

Madurawa

• Conducting training programs and providing necessary equipment for those engaged in various self-employment (beetle cultivation, betel cultivation, sewing, beauty and others) and providing a shredding machine for organic fertilizer production.
• Construction of Sewa Piyasa at Mahagedarawatta auction land in Madurava Grama Niladari Division.

Maddegama North

• Conducting training programs for various self-employed and providing necessary equipment (animal husbandry, agriculture and others)
